France - Workshop
The EDU-ARCTIC team has the pleasure to invite teachers from schools registered on the portal to submit their application for participation in one of the three Educators’ Fora. This workshop will be dedicated to teachers from western and southern Europe (Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Vatican City).
We aim to familiarize teachers with the philosophy and functioning of the EDU-ARCTIC program. We'll offer training as to Arctic knowledge and the use of the project portal. We're looking forward to receive feedback from educators about what improvements could be made or which areas might still have to be covered. Also, we want to promote the program through the Forum’s participants acting as EDU-ARCTIC ambassadors in their countries.
How to apply?
Fill in and submit application form on EDU-ARCTIC portal by May 15, 2017, by clicking "Register now" button.
How many teachers can participate?
Between 20 and 25 teachers will be selected per forum. The criterion is the degree of participation of teachers in the project (EDU-GAME points, until May 15). Among the applicants, the highest scorer from each participating country will be selected for a grant. Remaining grants will be awarded to the other highest scorers of those countries (within the limit of grants available).
Who will cover the cost of travel and accommodation?
The organisers cover these expenses (round trip and one night) according to the flat rates applicable in EU-funded projects. UVSQ can make the recommendations for hotels in the vicinity of the venue. Participants have to book the hotel themselves. Travel expenses and accommodation (one night) of selected participants can be refunded up to a maximum of 575 euro.
